Heartburn

Remedies recommended for Heartburn:

For immediate relief:

• Take 2 tsp of aloe vera gel with a pinch of baking soda.
• Take 1 cup of water and add 10 drops of lime juice, ½ tsp of organic sugar, ¼ tsp of baking soda. Drink it immediately after adding the baking soda.
• Take 1 cup of papaya juice with 1 tsp of organic sugar and 2 pinches of cardamon. This must take be taken by pregnant women.

In general, follow a Pitta-pacifying diet.

Pranayam recommended:

Shitali pranayam

Caution:

If you have heartburn along with vomiting, dizziness, chest pain radiating in neck or shoulder, shortness of breath - you need immediate help. Please contact a doctor.
