Recommendations:
- Drink cool water.
- Dip a clean cloth in cold water and place it on forehead and nose. Gently blow the nose so that if there is any clot it can come out.
- Inhale some cool water and gently blow your nose.
- Pinch your nose with your thumb and index finger. Hold it for 2-3 minutes while breathing through the mouth.
- Put a couple of warm drops of ghee in your nostrils. Dip a cotton swab in ghee and apply it to your nose.
- Stand or sit upright.
- Use a hot water humidifier in your surroundings.
- Take a mixture of ⅓ tsp of manjistha and 1/8 tsp of kama dudha with a little warm water twice a day.
- Drink cranberry juice or pomegranate juice or a mixture of these two.
- Put a few drops of fresh pomegranate juice in your nose.
- Follow a pitta pacifying diet.
