Massage the tight muscles of neck and shoulders with oil and then take a shower.
Putting 3-5 drops of warm ghee in each of your nostril.
Sesame oil massage on your scalp and feet before bed.
In case of vata-linked headache caused by dehydration: Drink about half a litre of water with 1 tsp sugar, ¼ tsp salt and 10 drops of lemon juice.
Apply a paste made of ¼ tsp nutmeg powder and water to your forehead and leave it on for about half an hour. Rinse with water.
