Functions: Carries sperm, ovum and their nutrients

Controlling Organs: 

• Testicles and penis
• Ovaries and uterus

Causes of vitiation:

• Sex at improper time
• Suppression of sex
• Excess of sex
• Application of excess of heat and radiation to the sexual organs
• Application of chemical substances to the sexual organs
• After effect of mumps infection
• Eating poor quality of food
• Excess stress

Symptoms and Diseases of Sukravaha srota vitiation:

• Impotency
• Infertility
• Abortion
• Defective pregnancy
• Decrease in overall immunity of the body
• Unwanted growth in prostate and in uterus
• Premature ejaculation
• Cancer of uterus or ovaries
• Reduction in sexual interest and stamina
• Irregular menstruation

Treatment: 

• Treatments done for restoring virility and sukra dhatu
• Use of aphrodisiacs
• Sex fast for 41 days
• Balanced diet - correcting food and lifestyle according to one's body type
• Panchkarma cleaning depending on the type of imbalance
